Manora Garden, best bed and breakfast in Phangnga
Picture

Manora Garden, a first impression.

In the southern part of  Thailand, between Krabi and Phuket, is a small town called Phangnga. A few kilometers outside this cozy and relaxing town, on the road to Sa Nang Manora forest park, you will find a small resort.

During our first years the rubbertrees were waiting to be 'tapped' at night. On dry nights, the coconut shells or bowls were hanging under the freshly tapped trees, collecting the dripping latex. A few hours later, it was time to take the latex out of the bowls: harvest time! Nowadays the extremely tall trees only gives us a nice shade, helping to keep the heat a bit out...

At the edge of the land is a small stream. The water comes directly from Manora Waterfall. Here, near the stream, the view is beautiful, overlooking mountains and the low land.

Dotted between the rubber trees are several lovely light yellow houses with Thai style red roofs. In front of all the bungalows are terraces or relaxing areas. At the end is a small vegetable garden, 'Garden of Love'. Each season is different but we can grow herbs and vegetables without toxic.  A few fruit treees, rambutan and mangosteen, give us fruit in july/septemner  This is Manora garden, a relaxing place...

Maybe we will see you in Phangnga?
You will be very welcome!
